Its Been Far too Long

So I haven't uploaded or shared any of my work since the summer. An entire semester has gone by and not one of my projects was posted. Well this we're a month into 2011 and I'm finna change that. Here are two works in progress for my capstone project, comparing how recognizable political figures are compared to reality TV stars. When it's all said and done there will be 8 different designs screen printed. Please leave any suggestions or critiques you have.

Screen Printing: The Design

Over the month of June I took a screen printing class at good ole' Elmhurst College. While I don't have photographs of my finished poster do I have the design for my self portrait. You must admit, I nailed the stache pretty good.

This is a poster from Art-316 for the Haiti Poster Project. This piece was judged and got an honorable mention. Unfortunatly it will not be able to be printed and sent to the actual project, but I feel it is still dino-mite.
